The Devil is in danger! And it's up to you and your impish friends to ascend the heavens and save him in this hellish puzzle game! 

Lucifer has been kidnapped by none other than God Herself and imprisoned in one of Heaven's celestial realms. Now it's up to his loyal devils to pull off the impossible rescue. But venturing through the dangerous skies patrolled by ever-watchful angels won't be easy.

In Hellbent, you control a band of devils, each with their own unique abilities, as they climb ever higher through the heavens in a desperate attempt to bring Lucifer home. But be careful: after taking too many steps, an angel will notice the devils' presence and unleash a single, blinding beam of divine energy that sends them straight back to Hell.

Every move matters. Careful planning, clever positioning, and choosing the right devil for each challenge are the keys to surviving the journey, even if it means sacrificing a few companions along the way.

Created in 72 hours for the GMTK 2026 game jam. The game has been updated after the jam to fix bugs and include four bonus levels.
